Regarding payment. I can now only accept money payments (US Dollars); I cannot accept checks as there have been some problems in the past with checks bouncing. For payment options and requirements, I require a 50% non refundable down payment to hold any chinchilla. I require the second payment upon the pickup/ delivery (by car).
I will deliver for a small fee. I will drive out a reasonable distance to deliver/ meet a customer given the right arrangements and conditions are met. Occasionally I make trips to Long Island, Western PA,Ohio, and central NY (Fingerlakes region). If it is convienient to bring a chinchilla with me I will. The shipping cost will again be time based. Generally trips to Long Island will be about $40-$70. Trips to western PA and Ohio will be about $30- $60 depending on time and distance.
I will ship, however I still require at least a 50% down payment, and then the shipping arrangements will have to be made by and paid for by the customer. The payment for the shipping carrier would best be included in the down payment. I will work with, to the best of my ability, my customer to complete shipping arrnagements. The carrier's cost will be refunded after shipment.
These terms are subject to change, and occasionally bend to meet the animal's needs to reach their new home.
